The Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program

Doug Stacye, owner of Gutter Cover of Kansas City, recently completed the mentoring program through The Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP).  The mentoring program was established in 1995 by Barnett Helzberg, Jr., former owner and President of Helzberg Diamonds.  The formal mentee program is a three-year program in which successful entrepreneurs are matched with less experienced mentees.  By means of this one-on-one mentoring relationship mentees are exposed to skills that can be applied to any professional or personal situation.  An important part of the program is providing networking opportunities with peers and veteran business owners in the community.

Kansas City is fortunate to have this large group of veteran business people who want to help the less experienced successful entrepreneurs achieve a higher level of success.  Gutter Cover of Kansas City has grown into a bigger and better company over the last three years and a considerable amount of our success can be attributed to the help we have received from HEMP.  If you have a successful business providing a good service or product and have an excellent reputation with your customers and vendors we encourage you to consider The Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program.  For more details on the requirements of this program please go to www.helzbergmentoring.org.
